Remote Support using Chat

Scenario

A Year 10 Business and Communication Group is being taught for 1 hour on a Friday morning by a cover supervisor.

The regular teacher cannot be present in class but is offering remote off-site support using the synchronous chat tool on the school learning platform.

Lesson materials had been posted to the Business Room on the platform and emailed separately to students using a class distribution/contact list that had been created on the school email system.

The topic that was being studied was eCommerce and using the guidance notes students had to create a PowerPoint presentation.

Completed work could be uploaded into the Business Room for the teacher to check or emailed.
