The Tideway School eModerators on top of Ben Nevis in August 2006. They climbed the mountain to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind. The eModerators are all ex-students who have received training in how to manage online content on the school learning platform. They also moderate student message and chat forums. Hannah (not present in the photograph) spent eight weeks in Australia at the start of 2006. She accessed the learning platform as she travelled from hostel to hostel and uploaded images and information so that students could track her movements. Two students acted as her online buddies and asked her questions about Australian life that had been raised by other students.
