e-Portfolios

Prom 2009

This is the last group of students who will transer to college with only paper based portfolios.

In 2009-10 our Year 11 cohort will begin to develop their own e-Portfolios in conjunction with the standard paper based ones.

Tutor groups will have computer access during their 25 minute end of day tutorials. During this time they will have training in e-Portfolio development.

Access to e-Portfolios will be enabled for local colleges during 'application time'.

As e-Portfolios are developed at KS3 there is an expectation that these will be accessed and used by students and staff during parent/carer consultation sessions.

The survey was conducted in August 2009, one year after UniServity was first used in school. It describes the ways in which e-Portfolios will be developed in the next academic year.
