An LEA example

In November 2006 East Sussex LEA launched it's Learning Platform consultation process at a conference organised by the East Sussex School Improvement Service.

At the conference, attended by senior managers from a range of schools across the authority, a number of presentations were made by teachers who were using Learning Platform tools in the classroom.

The key note speech was given by guest speaker Norman Crawford, Assistant Director e-strategy (schools), British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (BECTA).
