In Cyberspace no one can hear you scream ......

... but in the classroom they can.

Less than a week back into the new term and the learning platform is driving me mad.

Access...

... it slowed to a crawl during some lessons ... if a web page takes longer than 15 seconds to load visitors surf elsewhere ... in the classroom this length of time can seem like an eternity.

Crashed....

... it did during three Year 11 ICT lessons ... the last one was 15 minutes before the end of the last lesson of the day... always have a backup is the answer I (grudgingly) suppose.

Students often ...

... change their original password to something they forget by the start of next lesson......

Files...

.... that upload and work properly on my home PC do strange things in school e.g. video clips will sometimes play and sometimes not.

Browsers....

... a lesson that looks fine on Firefox may and does look different when Explorer is used.

Design...

What looked easy to navigate when I designed it at home suddenly does not look so easy to navigate from a student point of view....

Large Graphic files...

Did I really upload that massive graphic that took ages to download?
