Learning Platform Policy

Our expectations

It is a school expectation that on the learning platform:

•Every curriculum area will have its own ‘room’

•There should be evidence of lesson resources being uploaded to support student learning

•There should be evidence of students using the platform to upload work for assessment

•Students should be developing a bank of examples of their work in their own personal area

•There should be examples of subjects using the automated assessment tools

•Parents/carers should be able to access student assessment grades and examples of student work on the system

•Student views should be canvassed and acted upon

•Where students have access to a PC during lesson time and the regular member of staff is absent, work should be uploaded to Fronter and accessed by students during the lesson

•Work should be uploaded to the system for those students who are long term absent from school and who have access to the Internet from home

•There should be examples of Students and staff collaborating online with each other and with students from other schools and organisations
