Survey of Use

Tideway School began to implement use of the UniServity learning platform from July 2008.

In the initial ‘roll out’ of the system five members of staff attended a consultancy meeting with UniServity advisers and identified areas of practice that they would develop.

It’s possible to analyse staff and departmental use of the platform using data from the system and evidence from subject areas.

This analysis is based upon 40 teaching staff (including staff with either a part-time, very limited or no timetable commitment) and took place in August 2009.

As with surveys of this kind, context and local knowledge are important in analysing and making judgements about results.

This analysis is now planned to take place at the end of Terms 2,4 and 6 in the new academic year.
